What is a franchisee?

Successful Companies the world over have expanded by franchising; it is particularly popular in the UK and USA and some of the largest household names franchises, for example McDonalds and Subway which have both been among the fastest growing organisations in recent years.

Franchisees are business partners with their franchisor - both franchisee and franchisor work together to make the franchisee’s business successful. The franchisee operates his or her own business using the proven formula developed by the franchisee. This is why we call it a ‘Business in a box’. All the franchisee has to do is follow the materials, guidance, training and support provided to set up and run a successful business.

Franchisees own and manage their own independent business profiting from the rewards of their own energy and motivation; the rewards are limitless – there is no cap on the amount of business to be achieved in the territory in which the franchisee works.

So, if you want the benefits of being your own boss, generating rewards based upon your own energy and enthusiasm and using a well proven business formula, franchising could be for you.
