Here is a typical business situation.

A company has an office-based team which essentially processes orders, sends out goods or arranges for services to be delivered. They may – or may not - also raise quotations from enquiries sent direct “to the office”.

They manage this using QuoteWerks.

There is also a team of outside representatives who spend their days visiting customers.

There are two solutions to this situation:-

1. When the outside representative requires use of the full QuoteWerks system to craft detailed quotations / proposals away from base, then this is accommodated by either:-

When the outside representative is not involved in the crafting of detailed quotations, but is either garnering enquiries for an office team to quote, or collecting orders for an office team to fill, then limited and specific real-time access to the office QuoteWerks system can be provided by means of an hand-held web-browser.
